Hergé Museum - Louvain-la-Neuve

Hey there, lovely people! I am so excited to share my experience with you about the HERGÉ MUSEUM in Louvain-la-Neuve. Honestly, I had no idea what to expect when I walked through those doors, but boy, was I in for a surprise!

HERGÉ MUSEUM

Let me start by saying that this place is a dream come true for any Tintin fan out there. You'll feel like you've stepped into one of the iconic comic books as you wander through the halls of the museum, admiring the artwork and the fascinating collection of memorabilia.

As a self-proclaimed Tintin aficionado myself, I was in awe of the enormous figurine and scene collection of Tintin and his pals. It was every bit as magical as the comics themselves.

The museum is not just about Tintin, though. The exhibition gives you a fantastic insight into the life and work of the artist Hergé himself. It's incredible to see just how much thought and detail goes into each and every comic book frame.

One of my favourite sections of the museum was the "Draw Like Hergé" workshop. They provide you with a pen, paper and a guide on how to create your own comic strip in his style - what could be cooler than that? I did struggle a bit with the drawing, but it certainly was a ton of fun.

The museum was an utter delight from start to finish. It's an excellent homage to the genius that was Hergé, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in Louvain-la-Neuve.
