Natuurhistorisch Museum Rotterdam

As you step into our museum, you will be transported into the magical world of nature, where you can experience the beauty and diversity of the natural world. Our exhibits cover a wide range of topics, from the evolution of life on Earth to the amazing creatures that inhabit our oceans and forests.

One of our most popular exhibits is the Dinosaur Hall, where you can see life-size models of some of the most fearsome creatures that ever walked the Earth. Get up close and personal with the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex, or marvel at the long neck of the gentle Brachiosaurus.

If you're more interested in marine life, you'll love our Ocean Hall, where you can learn all about the creatures that live beneath the waves. See a full-scale replica of a Great White Shark, or take a virtual dive into the deep sea to see creatures that have never been seen before!

But our museum isn't just about looking at exhibits. We have lots of interactive installations and hands-on activities that allow you to get involved in the learning process. Have a go at identifying different animal skulls, or try your hand at fossil hunting like a real archaeologist!

One of our most popular installations is the Butterfly Garden, where you can walk among hundreds of live butterflies, and even feed them nectar! It's the perfect photo opportunity, but watch out for those wings!

After you've explored our exhibits, take some time to visit our Museum Shop, where you'll find a wide range of nature-inspired gifts and souvenirs. From books and toys to jewelry and clothing, you're sure to find something to remember your visit.
